evaulation presentation idea

For my evaluation powerpoint idea i have been asked to come up with a presentation to try show my ideas of my magazine and how it has developed over the months from reasearch and ideas to the making of it. i have thought of some ideas of how i would do it and i believe that using prezi would be a good way to show my presentation. however i may have other ideas instead which im not sure of yet but could use instead of prezi

Contents Page

This is my contents page which i have made for my music magazine, i have used the original colour scheme towards the front cover, the numbers given for each of the pages inside the magazine have been made with a 60's style of writting in black and white. the picture in my contents page i have edited all to be black white contrast which has a good effect of being a background and because i have made each picture slightly transparent they all blend into each other which looks almost to be one picture. the main subjects in this magazine have been indicated at the bottom of the page over a yellow background. this can represent important message to the consumers. the writting used for this is red. This colour of text dominates the colour of white al well being on a yellow background creates eye catching colours which would be the forst thing to see.

Stages of my magazine

This is my stages of my front cover of my media coursework, I have used one picture for my front cover which has been shown as a band i have made called 'AFTER THER BLAST'. Making a front cover i have used lots of texts such as mast head, strapline, and other titles to articles inside.  

Used Photos

These are some of the photos tat i will be using towards my media coursework. I have picked a delection of pictures which i believe i thought where the best and wanted to use in my magazine, however due to the construction of my magazine, there are some photos which i have changed to improve on my magazine. 

Rejected photos

These are the photos i will not be using for my coursework, this is because i have enough pictures already avalible towards my coursework, Also that some of the pictures are not what i wanted to use in my magazine because of possible errors made when taking these photos, Some picture i have created where ideas of pictures i could used to make the image seem more natural with the people i have used. these are to be seen as practise shots towards my coursework to correct on ones i would be using.  

Original pictures

We can identify that this could be a school magazine contents page by how it has been layed out, use of imagery andcolour scheme, the images used in this contents page have been chosen to represent the school in its students performance of learning and the highly popular sport of basketball. eah picture has been edited to remove any flaws and make the picture have a better apperamce. other pictures have been faded into the background so it can go behind the text. The colour of writting i have chosen is to be blue to be the article title, as it is a colour which represents the school and has  a better contrast than the other colour of writting. the grey has been used as an extra coours for extra infomation given. the mise-en scene i have made is a picture of text on paper which is hand written. we can able to indentify the writting symbolises the school for its learning.

Heat (Female Magazine) Contents Page

In the magazine 'heat' its contents page has been identified in a way which a female would best prefer her contents page layed out, one obvious representation they have made is the colour scheme used. The colours use in this magazine have used front colours such as black and red, this we can identify the importance of each story which needs to be seen has been labelled red. In category of the magazines section the title for each section and been made white writing in a small black framed background. This colour helps as to its different appearance of having a dark background but the white is clearly noticed inside this. Under each section a style of yellow background has been applied to bring brightness into the magazine making the audience feel welcomed to reader this magazine. our main article story printed on the contents page is showing a a article about 'Miss YAP YAP'S ALTERNATIVE QUEEN'S SPEECH' this talks about the story of her and what she is doing in her time over the Christmas. The image relates to this story as the dog has been given a crown which we can see a relationship between the image and the story as the purpose of 'Queen's speech' is used in the content.

Other articles have been given small photos which help with the some interesting article with pictures we can immediately identify what the page is going to be about. It seems to be that in most pages of this magazine it has been made the the magazines logo has been printed in the corner of either the top right hand corner or in this case on the contents page the top left hand side. This helps promote the magazine & present its magazine towards the consumers. Extra information has been given in the bottom right hand corner, for example the website. It has advertised its company towards the audience as much as it can as when the reader is looking for a certain page on a interesting Article it will be noticed has the pages flick through, this helps the magazine promote itself because heat have looked at different ways of trying to advertise the different parts of media they are involved in.

Fhm (male magazine) contents page

In the contents page of the male magazine 'FHM' we can identify from the features it has in which this is a male magazine. One of the biggest obvious clues to this is the image in the middle towards the left side, this picture is showing Nicole Scherzinger in which is seen towards men as attractive, to make the picture even more irresistable towards males her costume is her in underwear. This is because she is the main article within the magazine. With this picture we are able to identify which page is the one to be most viewed at. her body language given is a pose but with that comes the a hand sign which represents rock, this could mean that it revolves around her music also as not just a model being shown. The face expression given is the her eye contact it looking directly towards the reader with her body and head at a angle. The eye contact given is that she is giving a wink twards the consumer. This also gives more attraction towards the male reader to read this article even more.

The contents information has been plotted down the right hand side, the colour scheme of writting is made in black and red. the red is shown towards the importance of the magazine. For example being the page number referring to the reader which page each article is. a use of blue has been added in small text of below the image of Nicole Scherzinger which is also plotted on a yellow background. The blue is to be used as an extra colour which shows is the extra information of the article of  the singer.

Double Spread Page NME

The double spead i have chosen inside this magazine is not to do so much with interviewing a artist or band about their problems and newcoming albums but instead NME have decided to interview Shaun Ryder to his opintion to what they have called 'UNCLE SHAUNY's 10 COMMANDMENTS', this has been made to help with what he has been doing for young potential bands in helping them conquer their fears in prepping them for the first big shows. The picture used in this article is a picture of Shaun Ryder in a pose of which is him giving the thumbs up and a wink. We can refer to this as it is giving him a impression to readers that they can do it and are successful. The clothing he is wearing is very casual with a brown leather jacket, this gives the impression that he is just a casual 'bloke' is no different to any other, it helps the readers understand also that he was once in the same situation as what he has been doing and so is giving them help and advise on what to do when coming big.

The colour use in the back ground as small stripes going across the page which has been done in sky blue, this can refer to Shaun Ryder as a 'cool' and also seem like an innocent person. This is because the blue is a primary colour and has a soft but also cool effect on people. At the bottom of the page towards Shaun's right side it has been done with a blue back ground and has again stripes but in this they have been made brighter to baby blue, the font is white but with each titles as black. This part reviews about what Shaun has to say about the artists which are inside this magazine and reviews about them.

Contents Page 'NME'

This magazine's contents page reviews all the stories and articles typed up inside this magazine. In this week magazine which has also been used as it title for all of their magazine to reveal what is happening this week, their main stories which is located in the middle of the page has to say about NME's special radar issue. This is saying that they have brought out two magazines at the same time but with which talk about two different bands being 'THE VACCINES' in one magazine and in the other 'BROTHERS' which is the magazines which i have. in each of the magazines front cover both have used the same colour schemes which has used a white masthead and red main story headline. the layout of the magazine has always been the same with a the articles around the page at the sides and underneath of the main story to he magazine. Each picture indicates the artists or celebrity for example Shaun Ryder, the colour used has been printed onto white paper with black font. The titles it has been made into different fonts which simple editing which is taking one title which has been used twice and then used two with bold and two for italic.

On the other side which is the back of the front cover, it talks about a small niche record label called 'third man records' which we can understand in their way of selling their records by selling them over the Internet. This can help the record label gain customer's and audience in to listening and buying the albums online.

Double Spread Page THE FLY

In the magazine of 'THE FLY' the article is based towards the main story based on the front cover, the picture they have used is very similar towards the front cover's page, but however they have been put in different poses. the page reveals about a band called 'BRITISH SEA POWER' it reveals about there new record which is to be their fourth this is based on the right hand side of the double spread. the band has been shown as different views and appearances. as of which the camera has been made directly in front of the band but the band itself has been pictured at different angles and directions of looking. two at the front are directly looking in front towards the camera, where as the other record makers are looking other wise.

the picture has been made as photography with the roll of white fabric which is used in taking photos and giving it a blank background. although the camera has been made to be moved further back and has shown its background of where the picture has been taken. The lighting used has been directed fom where the camera is towards the record makers.

on the other side of the page a pattern has been made with a pattern. although it may not seem much some squares are actually the pattern of flags. this is because it represents the members of this article such as the photography and band. description of this article has been made on another page.

Contents Page 'THE FLY

The contents page inside the magazine 'THE FLY' reveals the stories inside this magazine. In this monthly magazine it has been made with very little detail, but where you want to find a article to read it has nothing in the way for you to find it. The main picture it is the story behind page 21, Which brings us the 'new' for 2011. There is a picture of Clare Maguire which we can see the type of 'new' they are talking about. This also can help us identify the age range in which would be interested in this article. This picture has been taken as a face portrait, the lighting has also been made to which is slightly above her to bring out much light onto her face making her face more pail but her lips have been made to stand out. we can make out that she is the 'new' look.

An advertisement has been made on the back of the front cover in which is next to the contents on the double page. it is advertising a phone made by 'Samsung', we can see that this magazine interest people who want new coming technology and up to date phones.
